Abstract

The public sector banks in this changing facets of Human Resources Management is undergoing enormous amount of stress and pressure due to Globalization, as they are forced to work in non-traditional and uncertain environment, but this is inevitable. The public sector banks no doubt are adopting methods and ways in fighting back their counter parts, in the process they undergo tremendous amount of STRESS. This study aims to determine the respondents’ level of work stress by demographic factors like job pessimism, work load, etc. Findings of this study also result in the overall level of work stress among respondent is moderate.
