Abstract
E-Governance is an innovative service delivery mode in the digital era. The Government implements various schemes and policies for the welfare of the citizens. It could reach the citizens after a long process. The Government wanted to make the processes easy, simple and transparent. The effective and quick mode of service delivery was made possible with the help of Information and Communication Technology (ICT). Accordingly, the citizens are able to avail the services anywhere and anytime using e-Governance services. Coimbatore District is one of the major industrial Districts in Tamil Nadu and the citizens residing in this District quite often approach the government for getting licences, certificates, etc. In this regard, the present study has made an attempt to understand the satisfaction of the citizens in Coimbatore District towards e-Governance services.
