Abstract

This paper exploresthe effect of entrepreneurship and competitive advantage strategy
on the performance of food industry entrepreneurs in the upper northern provinces,
Thailand.The quantitative research was followed by research methodology, by collecting
survey data from the samples of 189 food industry entrepreneurs in the Northern Thailand
Food Valley Thailand. For testing the research hypothesis, this research was use the structural
equation model (SEM).The result of the goodness-of-fit measuresfound that the chi-square is
52.535, DF was 66, P-value is 0.886, GFI is 0.940, AGFI is 0.905, CFI is 1.000 and RMSEM
is 0.000. The hypothesis shown that entrepreneurship have a direct effect on the performance
efficiency. The strategic of competitive advantage have a direct effect on the performance
efficiency. The entrepreneurial have a direct effect on the strategic of competitive advantage
and also have an indirect effect on the performance efficiency.
