A Comparative Study on Confidence, Control and Autonomy Among The Male Athletic Clubs Athletes in Mekelle City, Ethiopia

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to explore athletes’ about confidence, Autonomy and control among the male athletes of selected athletic clubs in Mekelle, Tigray region- Ethiopia. The researcher conducted variables such as (confidence, control and Autonomy) of male athletes among the Messebo cement factory male athletic club and Mesfin industrial engineering athletic club. The objective of the study is to review the male athletic in selected male athletic club in Mekelle. The total sample consisted of 30 each club shares 15 athletes age ranged from 19 to 29 years. The Sport Questionnaire (SMTQ) (Sheard et al.,2009) is used for this study. The calculated data were analyzed by using descriptive statistics (mean, standard deviation). The findings of the study shows that the overall  scores from the above results we can see that statistically significant differences of mean values were 2.311 and 2.733 in relation to Overall  between Messebo cement factory male  athletic club and Mesfin industrial engineering male athletic clubs
